Plumeria blooms during the summer and autumn months. Its white petals tinged with yellow give the flower a charming appearance, earning it the affectionate Chinese nickname “egg flower.” With its delicate and lingering fragrance, plumeria is cherished in many parts of the world. In Hawaii, its blossoms are traditionally woven into leis, symbolizing beauty, grace, and new beginnings, making plumeria a beloved flower for weddings.
Inspired by Hawaiian leis, designer Arista Lee captures the fleeting moment just before the plumeria fully blooms, transforming the flower into a sculptural form delicately placed upon the rings. The blossom has yet to fully open, yet already carries the promise of what is to come.
The design seeks to preserve the beauty of that precious beginning—the anticipation, joy, and sense of possibility surrounding a wedding day. May the years that follow remain just as beautiful, filled with anticipation, happiness, and endless laughter.
