More Than a Jewelry Designer, Lee Explores Infinite Possibilities

That jewelry is small sculpture is a consensus agreed by most jewelers, but few people have literally done creation consisting both fields at the same time.

LUMIN GARDEN Art Jewelry’s chief designer Yi-Hsuan Lee, meanwhile, has taken such an untraveled path. After five years of devotion in designing custom jewelry, in 2019, she began her journey of creating bronze and stainless steel, and through oil clay bit by bit concretized the world in her mind.

The experience of sculpture creation positively influenced Yi-Hsuan Lee on her ideas of jewelry design. Since then, LUMIN GARDEN’s jewelry has appeared more exquisite with smoother lines as well as more three-dimensional and vivid design.

In early December 2020, Yi-Hsuan Lee received recognition for her sculptures.
The stainless steel work “One” was purchased for collection by Art Bank Taiwan of Ministry of Culture. One week later, she received a notification from the ARC Salon, a prestigious competition for Contemporary Realism in the US, that her work “Pine and Crane” had been selected as one of the finalists among 4,941 outstanding entries from 83 countries. The final results of the grand award will come out in mid-January, 2021.
