ROSY CLOUD AND BUTTERFLY

Legend has it that Lao Tzu was disappointed with Zhou’s royal family, so he resigned his office and went to the west. One day early morning, the guarding officer of Han Gu Guan named “Yin Xi” found that the purple clouds should appear in the eastern sky stretching for thirty thousand miles. Being good at astrology, he expected the Saint was approaching. Just as expected, Lao Tzu was leisurely coming riding an ox. Yin Xi invited him to leave an article before going. Seeing him with such a sincere attitude, Lao Tzu wrote the Scripture “Tao Te Ching” with five thousand words, and then floated away. Ever since, the phrase “purple clouds coming from the east” has become an auspicious sign.
