WING TO WING

As recorded in Erya, the first surviving Chinese dictionary, there’s a type of mythical bird in southern China. Having only one eye and one wing, such birds depend on their mate to fly. Hence, they are always in pairs and inseparable.

Inspired by the beautiful legend, LUMIN GARDEN designer Yi-Hsuan Lee created “Wing to Wing,” a pair of matching wedding bands with single-winged design for each ring, for the couple about to walk down the aisle.

Designed with ingenuity, “Wing to Wing” uses radial embossed lines to present the layered structure of bird feathers in a simple but refined way. Though the woman’s ring is distinguished from the man’s ring by having 8 small diamonds embedded, the two bands are mirror symmetric to each other. Placed side by side, the couple rings become a pair of wings, carrying the beautiful imagery of two lovers flying to eternity.
